Òb Mheallaidh, Torridon
Taken on a cold February morning at this sheltered inlet in Upper Loch Torridon. Its name means ‘Bay of Deception’ in Scottish Gaelic. “It is dangerous owing to large boulders.” – W. J. Watson, ‘Place Names of Ross and Cromarty’ (Inverness, 1904).
