Pine Family, Loch a' Chroisg
Pine Family, Loch a' Chroisg

Mid-winter at Loch a' Chroisg, near Achnasheen in Ross-shire. I photographed the pines as the freezing fog began to clear from the loch behind.

I owe the inspiration for this photo, and the title, to Ian Cameron. The idea that the two parent pines on the outside are beckoning their smaller central children appeals to me very strongly.
